Reeves earns CAC Pitcher of the Week Award

FREDERICKSBURG, Md. – The Capital Athletic Conference released its weekly honors on Monday afternoon and Salisbury University baseball senior Connor Reeves was named Pitcher of the Week.

Reeves registered a pair of victories in his two appearances last week for the Sea Gulls. He won his start against Marymount (Va.) University on Wednesday, April 18, pitching a complete game while striking out 11 batters. He allowed only one run and five hits.

Against York College of Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 21, Reeves entered a tied game and threw 2 1/3 perfect innings that included two strikeouts.

On the season, Reeves has tossed 78 innings, compiled a 1.62 earned run average and holds a 10-2 record. His 10 wins currently has him atop that category in all of Division III baseball.

Salisbury returns to action on Monday, April 23 when it travels to No. 2 Rowan University. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
