Barry earns CAC Co-Player of the Week award

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference released its weekly honors on Monday afternoon and Salisbury University baseball junior infielder Jack Barry was named Co-Player of the week.

Barry helped lead the Sea Gulls to a 5-0 record for the week ending on April 15 and extend the team's current win streak to 13 games. He went 10-for-22 while batting .455 during the week, with four home runs, nine RBI and 10 runs scored. Three of Barry's four home runs came during a key showdown with No. 5 Christopher Newport University, in which Salisbury won 17-7.

For the season, Barry is hitting an impressive .416. He has scored 33 runs, driven in 17, and is tied for the team lead with five home runs.

Salisbury returns to action on Tuesday, April 17 when it travels to Rowan University. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
