    The Capital Athletic Conference announced its 2016-17 All-Academic Team and Salisbury University student-athletes made up a large number of the record 1,501 named to the team.

    The organizations D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association released their final Top 25 polls of the season on Tuesday afternoon. Salisbury University baseball was recognized by both D3baseball.com and the ABCA earning the No. 14 ranking in the D3baseball.com poll and the No. 15 ranking in the ABCA poll.
  • Grasso earns ABCA/Rawlings All-American honors

    The organization American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings released the 2017 Division III All-America Teams this morning. The honoree were announced at the opening ceremony of the NCAA Division III College World Series in Appleton, Wisconsin. Salisbury University senior Pete Grasso was recognized by the organization as he earned First Team All-American honors.

    The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) released the 2017 Division Baseball Academic All-America Team on Thursday afternoon. Salisbury University seniors Tom LaBriola and Pete Grasso were recognized by the organization for their outstanding performances both on the field but more importantly in the classroom.

    The American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings released the 2017 South ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Team this afternoon. Four members of the Salisbury University baseball team earned the organization's recognition while Pete Grasso led the way being named South All-Region Position Player of the Year.

The Sea Gulls won game one by the final score of 7-6 but fell in game two 13-5 and are eliminated from the 2017 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament.

    The No. 9 Salisbury University baseball team defeated Otterbein University 6-4 on Friday morning in an elimination game of the 2017 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament. With the win the Sea Gulls will now advance to play on Saturday, May 20.

    The No. 9 Salisbury University baseball team faced off against Roanoke College in first round action of the 2017 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament in the first meeting between the two programs. The Sea Gulls fell to the Maroons by the final score of 15-5 to get off to a 0-1 start in the south region.

    The National Collegiate Athletic Association announced the 56-team field for the 2017 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament. The No. 10 Salisbury University baseball team was awarded the No. 1 seed in the South Region and will travel to Danville, Virginia.

    The Capital Athletic Conference league office released the 2017 All-CAC Baseball Team this afternoon. Salisbury was well represented as seven Sea Gulls earned conference honors as six players were named to the first team while two were second-team selections. Pete Grasso and Head Coach Troy Brohawn led the maroon and gold led the list of honorees as Grass was named Co-Player of the Year while Brohawn earned Coach of the Year honors.

    The No. 12 Salisbury University baseball team took to the road for the second time in the last three days to take on No. 1 Shenandoah University in a battle of nationally ranked teams. The Sea Gulls defeated the top team in the nation by the final score of 8-4 behind the bat of Jay Perry and arm of Pete Grasso.

    The No. 16 Salisbury University baseball team captured its 14th Capital Athletic Conference Championship Saturday afternoon shutting out the sixth seeded Eagles of Mary Washington University 21-0. The Sea Gulls became the first CAC team to repeat as conference champions since they did back in 2012-2014.
