Baseball has final three games canceled for regular season

SALISBURY, Md. – The No. 10 Salisbury University baseball team has canceled the final three games of its regular season, including a single-game contest against Rutgers University-Camden that was scheduled for Thursday, May 12 and a doubleheader at Rutgers-Camden that was scheduled for Saturday, May 14.

No makeup dates for the games have been scheduled, and the Sea Gulls will now look to the NCAA Division III tournament selection release on Monday, May 16 at 12 a.m., for its next games. Salisbury earned the Capital Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the national tournament by winning the programs' 13th CAC championship on April 23, 9-8, over Frostburg State University.

With Sunday's selection, the Gulls will find out their destination and opponents for an NCAA Division III baseball regional tournament, which begins on Wednesday, May 18.
