Baseball flips home dates with Rutgers-Camden; will host contest on Thursday

SALISBURY, Md. – The No. 10 Salisbury University baseball team has adjusted its upcoming matchups with Rutgers University-Camden on Thursday, May 12 and Saturday, May 14 to accommodate final exam schedules at each university.

The Sea Gulls will now host a single game on Thursday at the SU Baseball Field, with the first pitch set for 3:30 p.m. The game will also be Salisbury's senior day.

On Saturday, the Gulls will travel to Rutgers-Camden for a doubleheader. The first pitch for the first game is slated for 1 p.m.

The games will act as Salisbury's final preparations for the 2016 NCAA Division III tournament, with the regional tournaments set to begin on Wednesday, May 18. The Sea Gulls earned an automatic qualifier into the NCAA tournament, following the program's 13th Capital Athletic Conference championship on April 23.
