Baseball announces several changes to remaining schedule

SALISBURY, Md. – The No. 13 Salisbury University baseball team has announced a multitude of changes to its remaining schedule, as the Sea Gulls have added three more games as they prepare for the upcoming NCAA Division III tournament.

Due to the inclement weather that is projected to come through the Salisbury area on Thursday, April 28, the Sea Gulls' game against Drew University has been canceled. There is no makeup date for the game that has been announced at this time.

Salisbury has added a game this weekend, turning the Gulls' matchup with City College of New York into a doubleheader at the SU Baseball Field on Sunday, May 1. The first game will begin a 1 p.m., and will be a nine-inning contest, while the second game will be seven innings.

On Thursday, May 12, the Sea Gulls' trip to Rutgers University-Camden has also been turned into a doubleheader set to begin at 3 p.m.

Two days later on Saturday, May 14, Rutgers Camden will now come to the SU Baseball Field for a 2 p.m. contest.

With Thursday's cancelation, the Gulls will now next be in action against CCNY in the doubleheader at the SU Baseball Field, set to begin at 1 p.m.
