Salisbury ranked No. 11/16 in national polls

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University baseball team moved up to No. 11 in the country in the Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Top 25 poll, while also moving to No. 16 in the American Baseball Coaches Association/Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division III Baseball poll, the organizations announced.

The Sea Gulls earned 335 points in the poll to jump up one spot, after posting a 1-1 week last week. The Gulls earned their win on Tuesday, 7-0, over Washington (Md.) College, behind a complete-game, shutout by senior Connor Shockley.

In the ABCA poll, Salisbury garnered 225 points.

Trinity (Texas) University remained in the No. 1 spot in both polls, while No. 4 Ramapo College also held the same spot in both. The ABCA poll had University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and State University of New York at Cortland at Nos. 2 and 3, while had the two flipped with Cortland second and Whitewater third.
