Shockley collects CAC co-Pitcher of the Week honor

YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference named its weekly baseball award winners on Monday afternoon and Salisbury University senior Connor Shockley was named the league's co-Pitcher of the Week.

Shockey went the distance against Washington (Md.) College, tossing his first career complete game, shutting out the Shoremen over nine innings. The Salisbury, Maryland native scattered four hits in the outing, all singles, while striking out seven and walking four batters. He collected his second win of the year in the contest.

The Sea Gulls are in action this afternoon, facing the University of Mary Washington in a CAC doubleheader at the SU Baseball Field. They will play their annual scrimmage against the Delmarva Shorebirds, the Class-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday, April 5 at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium in Salisbury, beginning at 7:05 p.m.
