SALISBURY, Md. – Temperatures this weekend are not expected to reach 30 degrees, prompting the postponement of three scheduled Salisbury University baseball games.
The Sea Gulls were scheduled to open the season this weekend with a three-game series against Virginia Wesleyan College, with a doubleheader in Virginia Beach on Saturday, February 13, and a single game in Salisbury on Sunday, February 14. All three games have been postponed.
Two of the contests have been rescheduled, with the game in Salisbury now set for Wednesday, February 17, beginning at 1:30 p.m. Salisbury will travel to Virginia Wesleyan on Tuesday, February 23, for another nine-inning affair, also set for 1:30 p.m.
The third game of the series has not been set, though the teams will be working to get the game back on their schedules on a common free date.
