UPDATE: Salisbury baseball postpones game against Johns Hopkins

SALISBURY, Md. – The No. 5 Salisbury University baseball team was scheduled to travel to take on Johns Hopkins University in a single-game matchup on Tuesday, April 28, but the game has been postponed due to the current protests and unrest taking place in Baltimore, Maryland.

The game is now scheduled for Tuesday, May 5 in Baltimore, Maryland. The game time is set for 3 p.m.

The Sea Gulls picked up an 8-3 win against Neumann University on Monday, improving their record to 26-4 on the season. Seniors Bobby Sanzone, Austin Barefoot, and Danny Breen paced the offense with two RBIs each, while sophomore Ryan Daiss went eight innings on the mound to earn the win.
 
Salisbury will be back at home on Saturday, May 2 for senior day when they take on the College of Staten Island in a doubleheader. The first game is set to begin at 12 p.m.
