Salisbury baseball moves to No. 4 in latest poll

MINNEAPOLIS – After starting the season with a 2-0 record, the Salisbury University baseball team has moved up to No. 4 in the country, according to the latest poll.

The Sea Gulls started the season with a 13-6 home win over Gwynedd Mercy University on February 7.

SU picked up their second win at home against Virginia Wesleyan College on February 14, earning a 6-5 victory.

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the University of St. Thomas remain at the No. 1 and 2 spots, respectively, while State University of New York at Cortland moved up a spot for No. 3. California Lutheran University rounds out the top 5, moving up nine spots from last week.

Salisbury will compete against Catholic University of America on Wednesday in a single-game contest. The game is set to begin at 2:30 p.m.
