SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University baseball team announced three schedule changes on Tuesday pertaining to the home matchups against State University of New York at New Paltz and State University of New York at Oswego this Saturday and Sunday, and the away contest against Neumann College next Friday.
Saturday's home matchup against SUNY New Paltz, which was originally slated for one game starting at 12 p.m., will now be a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m.
Sunday's doubleheader contest against SUNY Oswego, was scheduled to begin at 12 p.m., but will now begin at 11 a.m.
The Sea Gulls' game that was originally to be played at Neumann on Friday, March 6th will now be a home game at the SU Baseball field on the same date. The first pitch for that game will be at 2 p.m.
Salisbury will travel to Virginia Beach, Virginia on Wednesday to complete its game that was suspended due to darkness in Salisbury on February 14. That game was scheduled for nine innings, but was called with the teams tied, 7-7, in the seventh inning. That game will resume at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, followed by a nine-inning contest, which had originally been slated to be played on February 16.
