Baseball scheduled to travel to Virginia Wesleyan on Wednesday

SALISBURY, Md. – The No. 6 Salisbury University baseball team will be back on the diamond on Wednesday, February 25, traveling to Virginia Wesleyan College.

The Sea Gulls will get to finish their game which was suspended due to darkness in Salisbury on February 14. That game was scheduled for nine innings, but was called with the teams tied, 7-7, in the seventh inning.

That game will resume at 1 p.m., on Wednesday, followed by a nine-inning contest, which had originally been slated to be played on February 16.

Following this week's road trip, Salisbury will return to the SU Baseball Field, hosting the State University of New York at New Paltz on Saturday, February 28, with that game beginning at noon. On Sunday, March 1, The Sea Gulls will host a doubleheader against the State University of New York at Oswego, beginning at noon.
