Baseball's second NCAA game pushed back to Friday

MARIETTA, Ohio – The No. 7 Salisbury University baseball team will have to wait a day to compete in its winners' bracket game of the NCAA Mideast Regional, as rain and dangerous weather has pushed the second day of competition back.

Salisbury picked up a 9-8 win against John Carroll University on Wednesday and was scheduled to play No. 20 Case Western Reserve tonight at 8 p.m. The early portion of Thursday's schedule has been pushed back, with the hope of getting two games in, sending the Salisbury/Case Western game to 1 p.m., on Friday, May 16.

The winner of Friday's game will next play at noon on Saturday, while the loser will play at 8 p.m., on Friday night.
