Salisbury selected to host 2009 NCAA Division III South Regional
INDIANAPOLIS - The NCAA Division III
Baseball Committee recently announced seven of eight predetermined
regional sites and Salisbury University was selected to host the
2009 South Regional on May 13-17. This will be the first time in
four years that the Sea Gulls have hosted a regional final. All
games will be played at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium home of the
Delmarva Shorebirds, the Single-A affiliate of the Baltimore
Orioles.
The seven regional hosts are Augustana (Central), Adrian
(Mideast), Midwest (UW-Oshkosh), Eastern Connecticut State (New
England), SUNY-Old Westbury (New York), Salisbury (South), and
Linfield (West). The Mid-Atlantic regional host has not been
determined yet.
