Poor field conditions postpone Salisbury baseball game at Johns Hopkins

BALTIMORE - The No. 4 Salisbury University baseball team had its game with No. 13 Johns Hopkins University postponed on Tuesday, April 29, due to poor field conditions because of heavy rains the day before. The Sea Gulls, ranked fourth in the D3baseball.com poll and fifth in the coaches' poll, was slated to travel to Baltimore for this in-state non-conference game today. A make-up date for today's contest has yet to be announced.

The Sea Gulls (37-2) will await a make-up date with the Blue Jays  (30-5) and prepare for the May 8 game against Montclair State University on the road.

Salisbury also recently announced it will not host Richard Stockton College of New Jersey on May 10 as the Ospreys pulled out of the game.
