Seven home runs pace Sea Gulls in 27-5 rout

COCOA, Fla. - The No. 20 Salisbury University baseball team defeated Pennsylvania College of Technology on Tuesday, 27-5, at the Cocoa Expo in Florida.

Salisbury (13-1) ripped off 29 hits in 53 at-bats and had zero fielding errors in the well-rounded victory. Seven different Sea Gulls hit home runs in the game including freshman Brad Baylis, junior Randy Boyle, senior Mark Bostwick, freshman Brian Green, freshman Matt Hein, sophomore Matt O'Keefe and freshman Hunter McIntyre.

The Sea Gulls sent five pitchers to the mound as they racked up 11 strikeouts and allowed only nine hits. Freshman Dustin Herbert got the win for SU, his fourth of the season. The teams stopped the game after the eighth inning.

The maroon and gold will take on Rowan College in the final game of their spring break road-trip Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.
