Chamberlin to speak at Varsity Club Coaches Luncheon on September 9
SALISBURY, Md. – With the fall athletics season underway at Salisbury University, the Varsity Club would like to announce that Hall of Fame Head Coach Dawn Chamberlin will be the speaker at the Varsity Club Coaches Luncheon this Thursday, September 9, at noon. The luncheon will be held in the Caroline Room of the Commons.
Chamberlin, who has been at the helm of the Sea Gull field hockey program for 24 years, is widely respected as one of the greatest coaches in Division III history. She has transformed the Salisbury field hockey program into a national powerhouse, with the Sea Gulls winning four of the program's five national championships in her tenure. In 2009, the three-time NCAA Division III National Coach of the Year was inducted into the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Hall of Fame.
The cost of lunch is $8.56 plus tax per adult and $4.41 plus tax for kids aged 6-12. Kids under the age of 5 are free. Parking is available on campus* or at the Salisbury University Foundation House, located at 1308 Camden Avenue.
