Salisbury University student-athletes participate in ATC Canned Food Drive

SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury University Athletic Training Club concluded its annual Canned Food Drive on Tuesday as over 1,000 cans and 11 turkeys were donated to the local Joseph House in town. The Joseph House is a non-profit charitable organization that helps the poor and homeless.

SU's 21 varsity teams competed against each other in donating canned goods towards the food drive, which centers around Thanksgiving. The women's basketball team won the competition for raising food per capita. The football team donated the most cans as a group with 450.

The SU Athletic Training Club thanks all of the teams for helping to participate in this great cause.
