Salisbury places 148 on CAC All-Academic squad
ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - The Capital Athletic
Conference released the All-Academic Team numbers for the 2006-07
season. The student-athletes must achieve a 3.2 grade-point average
(GPA) for the 2006-07 academic school year. Salisbury University
had 40.44 percent (148-of-366) of its student-athletes meet or
exceed the mark of 3.2. The mark of 148 was good enough to place SU
second in the CAC behind York (Pa.) College (161).
Salisbury won the 2006-07 CAC All-Sports Award for the second year
in a row as the maroon and gold won nine out of 18 CAC
championships.
