YORK, Pa. – The Capital Athletic Conference released its 2015-16 All-Academic Team which featured a record 1,384 student-athletes, including 183 from Salisbury University.
The Sea Gulls accounted for the second-highest total from the league, trailing only York College of Pennsylvania, which had 224 earn the honor. Salisbury's selections accounted for 46.1 percent of the athletic department's student-athletes, a percentage which was fifth in the league and fourth among full-time CAC members.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have a 3.20 grade-point average for the 2015-16 academic year.
A total of 44.4 percent of CAC student-athletes made the list, with York's 61.5 percent leading the way.
