Track & Field Complex

The SU Track and Field Complex, resurfaced in 2003, features an eight-lane, 400-meter oval and has hosted a number of local and regional championship meets, including the Capital Athletic Conference championships on several occasions. The Bermuda grass infield is one of the finest in the Mid-Atlantic region. The infield used to be home of the SU field hockey team who hosted a number of NCAA playoff games in recent years, including the 2000 Division III Final Four.

The Salisbury University Track and Field program traditionally hosts the SU Opener during the first week of March to help kick-off the outdoor season. When the track is not being used by Sea Gull athletic teams members of the SU community can run or walk on the track during the daytime.
