History
The Indoor Tennis Center was built in the late 1970s and operated
as a private club until the University purchased it in the 1990s.
The indoor courts were resurfaced in 2001. The outdoor courts first
started as six asphalt courts in the early 1960s that had nets made
out of chain-link fence. Since then, six additional courts and
lights have been built while the playing surface and nets were
upgraded. The outdoor courts were resurfaced in 2000.
