Salisbury University Community Champions

Sea Gull student-athletes give back to their surrounding community in the city of Salisbury and throughout the Eastern Shore each and every year. Such activities from the past year include an annual food drive sponsored by the SU Athletic Training staff, Habitat for Humanity performed by the field hockey team and countless hours spent with elementary school students by several of the sports teams. Each year, the SU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee runs a shoebox present
drive for the holiday season. The gifts are distributed to needy children in the area.
SU athletic trainers donate food to needy  
The SU Athletic Training Club ran its annual canned food drive to help the needy for Thanksgiving.
SU volleyball players donate athletic equipment
Members of the volleyball team help to donate SU athletic gear and equipment to be used by victims of Hurricane Katrina.
