Randal Smedley

Freshman Randal Smedley led the Salisbury University football team to a 48-17 victory over the Apprentice School this week with eight carries for 60 yards and two touchdowns. The victory ascended the Sea Gulls to a new ranking in the American Football Coaches Association as the Gulls moved three spots to No. 20 in the country. He was also named Atlantic Central Football Conference Rookie of the Week.
