Kristin Stromberg

The sophomore pace-setter for the women's cross country team dashed through the 6K course and earned a second-place finish with a time of 24:10. The Hampstead, Md., native kept her teammates close as she led the flock of Sea Gull runners who persisted through the race to win the 2008 Capital Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championship over University of Mary Washington by a narrow two-point margin.
