Matt Cannone

The freshman attacker tallied 12 goals, three ground balls, and one assist to lead the No. 1 SU men's lacrosse team to a 2-0 record this week. The Bayport, N.Y., native collected five goals and dished out one assist in Salisbury's 15-8 victory over Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday. Cannone then tallied a career-high seven goals and one groundball to lead Salisbury to a 27-7 victory over Marymount (Va.) on Wednesday. He leads SU on the year with 30 goals and is second with 35 points.
