Evan Thomas

The junior opened up the new season going 4-0 as the No. 22 Salisbury University men's tennis team went 1-1 last week. Thomas went 2-0 at No. 2 singles and 2-0 in first doubles. The Salisbury, Md., product was one of three Sea Gulls to win in singles against No. 18 Washington and Lee as he won in straight sets 6-1, 6-3. He repeated the performance in SU's win over Hampden-Sydney when he won in straight sets again 6-1, 7-5. His efforts garnered him the CAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week.
