Katie Fitzenreiter
The freshman swimmer helped lead the women's swim team in its meet against St. Mary's (Md.) College last Saturday at the Maggs Center pool. Fitzenreiter won the 100-meter free (1:05.27) and cruised to a first-place finish in the 400-meter free as she finished 12 seconds ahead of the closest competitor in 4:47.03. The Columbia, Md., took home second-place honors in the 800-meter free (9:52.75). She capped her day off as a member of the 400-meter freestyle relay team that finished in second (4:20.20).
